Starting a business in Dubai is not an easy thing to do. Although there are a lot of resources available for aspiring entrepreneurs, there are still challenges that they need to overcome, especially when they are building everything from scratch.
But these difficulties should not discourage you from pursuing your passion in business. Instead, this would motivate you to push through despite the odds. If you find yourself in a position where you are finding it hard to
- Forget your fears
The fear of the unknown can certainly get the best of us. But if you let it overwhelm and intimidate you, then you will be stuck forever wondering about the “what ifs” and “should haves”. If you are thinking of starting a business, it is a must that you shut these fears off and go with it. Forget about the fear of failing as well. You need to remember that failure is part of the territory, but making a big comeback after a setback is what that matters.
- Be a sponge
The generation of entrepreneurs is quite lucky as they have all the help they need to start their trade – from advises to hard facts. Try to take in as much information as you can, but also learn to filter and sift through all of it. Decipher which information and advices would best suit the business idea you have in mind.
- Offer a solution

- Stay with your day job
This tip might be a little odd. It is true that juggling between two careers can be a tough call. But leaving your day job while you are still in the process of formulating your business might not be a good idea. Unless you have enough funds to focus on your upcoming business venture, it would be best to stay put for a while until you figure everything out.
- Educate yourself
Since information is readily available for everyone to use, there is no excuse for you not to educate yourself. If you don’t have any idea about starting a business in the Fujairah Free Zone, then go and research about it. Go to a training or business school if you think you need a formal education first before starting your trade.
